Abstract: The train basic data maintenance is the foundation work of railway ticket sales organization and management. This article analyzed the existed problems, summed up experience and practice, proposed the idea of applying Internet technology to data maintenance based on the existing technical conditions of railway ticketing and reservation system, implemented the basic data interconnection and interworking among different systems, suggested to design data verification tools for railway ticketing and reservation system, improve maintenance efficiency and quality, ensure the accuracy of basic data for the system.
