Abstract: Cloud computing, internet of things, big data, artificial intelligence, block chain and cyber-physics system (CPS) are the frontier emerging technologies. Connotation of these technologies and their relationship are introduced in this paper. These technologies are not isolated from each other, but interrelated, complementary and mutually reinforcing. Internet of things is the data source, big data is the basic resource, cloud computing is the infrastructure, artificial intelligence is the core algorithm. Block chain can create conditions for the transformation of business infrastructure and operation mechanism in railway field. CPS is a set of integrated technology system that runs through the information space and physical space based on automatic data flow, including state perception, real-time analysis, scientific decision-making and precise execution. The comprehensive application of these new technologies, crosssupport and virtuous iteration of cyclic evolution will actively promote the development of railway intellectualization.
