Abstract:
To deal with the difficulties that the now available ratings of railway stations cannot evaluate the ranks of all railway stations objectively and rationally due to incomprehensive consideration of relevant evaluation factors, a model of rank rating of all railway passenger stations is presented based on analytic hierarchy process, which involves mutiple evaluation factors such as station's service capabitity, resource condition, attraction of passenger flow as well as position and role of a station within railway network. The model is built and verified by R language and database technology using historical passenger traffic data from railway passernger stations across the country. And the results of rank rating of all railway passernger stations generated by this model are analyzed. Up to now, the practicability and referencce value of the results has been validated in practices such as envalution of train operation plan and train diagram and railway enterprise ticket revenue budget management.
