Abstract:
Through collecting the passenger queuing data in the railway station, and using the queuing theory and Anylogic software simulation, this paper studied the problem of long queuing time and poor user experience in both existing railway stations and part of high speed railway stations. It was found that the customer satisfaction could be improved by adjusting different queuing modes and increasing the number of equipment. The results indicate that the hybrid queuing mode can be used in the grand passenger station, and the parallel queuing mode can be used in the small and medium passenger station. Depending on the different situation, the station staff can adjust the number of key equipment to improve the efficiency of station entrance, reduce passenger queuing time and improve the user experience.
