Abstract: The friction control technology and products used in Shuohuang heavy-haul railway were tested for friction control technology. The influence of the friction coefficient on the train braking distance was studied on the existed line. The dynamic response of the track structure before and after the friction control technology used was evaluated by the actual application of the friction control technology.
