Abstract: Multimedia files distribution was an important role in Passenger Information System(PIS). This paper expounded the transmission mode of the multimedia data in PIS, researched on the file transmission model of PIS based on its network architecture, implemented the load balancing of large file transfer for PIS based on P2P technology.
