Abstract: In the era of big data, the data was more and more complicated, data visualization technology was required in order to make the invisible phenomena into the visible graphic symbol, and data visualization played an increasingly important role. This paper researched on the data visualization technology from its concept and technical characteristics. The visualization technology was successfully applied to the China Railway Ticketing and Reservation System. The future applications of railway data with data visualization technology were discussed. Data visualization technology was the key of presentation and interpretation large-scale data.
