Abstract:
Based on centralized data management and sharing of freight traffic organization, regional freight traffic centralized management decision support system realizes automatic calculation tools such as empty car delivery demand at loading station, available empty cars, cargo pre-loading plan and train formation plan at technical station based on algorithms. The system provide comprehensive information query for users at all levels, support collaborative preparation of intra-regional and bureau-station shift/stage plans, and improve overall efficiency of regional freight traffic organization. Through pooling regional freight traffic demand and transportation capacity as a whole, it realize rapid and accurate delivery of empty cars to loading stations and reasonable and balanced delivery of loaded cars to unloading stations. It can assist technical station dispatchers to prepare high quality train formation plan, geprovide intermediate station car loading plan according direction and boundary station and optimize intermediate station train operation plan, so as to achieve the goal of mutual-serving of technical station and intermediate station. It also support performance appraisal based on quantitative indicators to achieve closed-loop management of freight traffic organizations in the region. It has been used in Jinan Railway Bureau since 2023, which can help shorten delivery time, reduce logistics costs and improve customer satisfaction while improving operation efficiency, operation safety and freight traffic organization.
