Abstract:
To meet the management needs of locomotive graded servicing, cross railway administration and depot maintenance, and precise maintenance, this paper designed a locomotive real-time running kilometer application system that integrated functions such as collection, transmission, and application. The paper utilized onboard devices to collect real-time data on the distance traveled by the train operation monitoring device (LKJ), relied on the 3G/4G mobile network and the internal/external network transmission channels of the vehicle information management platform to implement the transmission of online travel kilometer data, and implemented real-time data query and multi-dimensional statistical analysis, as well as locomotive serving prediction, repair type prediction, and other functions through the ground application of locomotive running kilometers. The trial results in the pilot railway administration and depot indicate that, this system provides a quantitative basis for locomotive servicing and maintenance, reduces the workload of manual data maintenance, eliminates the occurrence of locomotive disrepair and exceeding the servicing cycle, reduces transportation safety risks, and overall improves the level and efficiency of locomotive operation and maintenance.
