Abstract: In order to fully support the ticket sales of China - Laos railway cross-border trains and improve the travel experience of international passengers, this paper designed a ticketing and reservation system for cross border passenger transport of China - Laos railway. Taking into full consideration the needs of international travelers and combining with the national conditions of China and Laos, the paper constructed a lightweight and modular high availability system architecture, chose a ticketing technology that was suitable for the national conditions of Laos to support language switching between Chinese, Laotian, and English, implement multi-currency ticketing services, integrate electronic payment methods from multiple countries, and expand ticketing channels. The application shows that the system improves the informatization level of China - Laos railway, improves the passenger transport efficiency of China - Laos railway, and provides passengers with better travel services.
