Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, big data and intelligent technology have penetrated into various fields. As an important component of the national economy, the intelligent application of big data for railway passenger transportation is of greater significance. Based on this background, this paper introduced typical application cases of intelligent application of big data for railway passenger transport in market perception, as well as application solutions of big data technology in demand mining, decision-making suggestions, marketing, safety assurance, and other aspects for passenger transport. Big data and intelligent technology in passenger transportation provide new technological means to improve the quality of railway passenger services, optimize transportation organization, and ensure train operation safety.
