Abstract: Considering the fact that Railway Ticketing and Reservation System(TRS) was toward fully automatic, and due to the problems that the software system of TRS terminal could not automatically upgrade, this article explored the software automatic update technique on device driver and firmware. Experiment results proved the relative feasibility. This technique could be used to enhance the automaticity of the TRS and reduce manpower.
