Abstract: In view of lack of uniform evaluation standard and professional assessment organization for level protection evaluation in railway industry, and lack of effective normalized management mechanism, the paper researched and discussed on the working mode of level protection evaluation for Railway Information System based on other industries, analyzed the function and contents about level protection self-inspection and level evaluation, pushed on the development of level protection work, precipitated the normalization of evaluation work.
