Abstract:
To address the low efficiency, poor collaboration and insufficient data accuracy of the traditional work verification and valuation mode in railway engineering construction, this paper designed a BIM-based management system for railway work verification and valuation. Taking the BIM model as the core carrier, the paper established a four-level list system covering projects, unit works, divisional works and sub-divisional works, and constructed a dynamic engineering quantity extraction mechanism and the correlation framework between engineering structures and list data. It realized the integrated management of attribute information, engineering quantity and cost of engineering entities. The system integrated core business modules including quality inspection lot management, contract management and work verification and valuation, clarified the preconditions and standardized procedures of verification and valuation, and effectively remedied the procedural deficiencies of traditional management modes. This study carried out a case verification on the Xining–Huangshengguan Section (Gansu–Qinghai Section) of the newly built Xining–Chengdu Railway. The results show that the proposed system significantly improves the efficiency and data accuracy of verification and valuation, reduces engineering management risks, and provides reliable technical support for the whole-process cost control of railway engineering projects.
