Abstract:
After the centralized deployment of Version 3.0 of the Railway Station Management Information System (abbreviated as Railway Station MIS) on China’s national railways, any system failure that causes service interruption will bring potential safety risks to train operation. To solve this problem, this paper designed and implemented a disaster recovery system for the Railway Station MIS, elaborated its architecture and functions, adopted database synchronization, asynchronous data backup and parallel data transmission technologies, and built a two-level protection system covering railway group companies and station sections to support the continuous train operation services. Practical application results from China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd. show that the system effectively improves the efficiency of disaster recovery work for the Railway Station MIS and guarantees the stability and safety of train operation.
