Abstract:
To improve the efficiency and standardization of BIM (Building Information Modeling) design for railway communication, this paper designed and developed a railway communication BIM design system based on the Bentley software platform. By leveraging the collaborative design of BIM models for railway lines, station yards, and station-front buildings, the paper integrated and developed core functions such as equipment room layout, station yard layout, section-level equipment layout, and cable protection facility layout. Practical application results show that the system can significantly improve design efficiency while fully leveraging the inherent associativity of BIM models to conduct design verification, ensuring the correctness of design results, and ultimately realizing the automated generation of deliverable drawings, which provides support for the digitalized construction of subsequent projects.
