Abstract:
In order to solve the problems of energy consumption surge and cooling cost increase in railway data center rooms caused by the acceleration of railway digital transformation, this paper proposed a micro module design scheme for railway data center liquid cooling system based on single-phase cold plate liquid cooling technology, studied the value of liquid cooling technology in reducing energy consumption in data centers, lowering Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) values, and improving spatial efficiency from multiple perspectives such as supporting facilities and implementation strategies. Based on the expected results, the paper analyzed the energy consumption and PUE values of data centers after adopting this scheme, and conducted an experiment. The experimental results in a data center computer room indicate that the expected PUE value of this scheme can meet the requirements of relevant national policies and has the advantage of being applied in railway data centers.
