Abstract: Currently, magnetic ticket and second-generation ID card were taken as certificate to go through the auto gate. In order to serve passengers better, save the manpower and material of stations, the railway introduced China Railway Union Bank Card as the third tool of going through the auto gate. The China Railway Union Bank Card System including Window Teller System, Background Management System, Card Issuing System, Key Management System, etc., was developed and put into use. This article introduced the system structure, key technologies and the effect on railway applications.
