Abstract: This paper introduced the definition, characteristics and key technologies of blockchain technology in detail, comprehensively analyzed the application status and policy development trend of the blockchain technology at home and abroad, put forward a blockchain technology application plan for railway big data sharing and "the Belt and Road" railway freight logistics and other typical scenes.The paper also given some suggestions on the application of railway blockchain technology from the aspects of top-level design, standard system, typical application, service platform, etc.
