一种机载LiDAR点云电力线自动提取和重建方法

Automatic extraction and reconstruction method of power line of airborne LiDAR point cloud

  • 摘要: 针对机载激光雷达(LiDAR,Light Detection and Ranging)铁路电力线点云特性,尤其是水平投影近似重叠的情况,提出一种电力线自动提取的方法。结合直线拟合法、成分分析法和Hough变换法计算电力线在XOY平面走向;利用空间距离聚类方法将水平投影近似重叠的2股点云分离开来;采用Davis-Bouldin指标的最佳聚类数判定方法,自动计算电力线条数;利用K-means聚类方法将单根电力线点云提取出来;并基于二次多项式的最小二乘拟合方法确定电力线模型参数,进行三维重建。实验证明,该方法能够达到较高的拟合精度,尤其对水平投影近似重叠且有中断的点云,拟合效果较好。

     

    Abstract: Aiming at the characteristics of point cloud of railway power line in airborneLiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), especially when the horizontal projection was approximately overlapped, this paper proposed a method of automatic power line extraction.The paper used line fitting method, component analysis method and Hough transform method to calculate the direction of power line in the XOY plane, andused spatial distance clustering method to separate the two overlapped point clouds of horizontal projection, adopted the best clustering number judgment method of Davis-Bouldin indexto automatically calculate the number of power lines; applied the K-means clustering method to extract a single power line point cloud; and used the least square fitting method based on the quadratic polynomial to determine the parameters of power line model and carry out three-dimensional reconstruction.The experimental results show that this method can achieve high fitting accuracy.The fitting effect is good especially for the point cloud with approximate overlapping and interruption of horizontal projection.
