Abstract: To meet the new requirements on the intellectualization, information and mobile interconnection of the modern tram passenger information system, this paper explored new architecture of modern tram passenger information system which was combined with Beidou positioning technology, and based on the traditional architecture.The system has functions such as customized information release, dynamic prompting of train location and arrival time, interactive information query, device management and real-time monitoring. The service information is provided to passengers in various forms, such as electronic stop boards, inquiries and mobile applications. It expands the information coverage and information content of tram passenger information system, and improves the convenience and real-time performance of passengers' access to information.
