Abstract: The paper analyzed the characteristics of motor-railway combined transport, from the qualitative point of view, expounded the method to select the logistics supplier of functional type. In addition, in quantitative way, the problems were analyzed that the selection model was established by linear programming method on the basis of AHP and suppliers were selected by optimization grouping. The selection method was verified by the case.
