Abstract: Monitoring System was the essential system in metro security field, which played an important role in metro safety operation. In this paper, the often recurring problems of On-board Video Monitoring System were analyzed in the actual operation for Beijing Metro Line 1. According to the results of the analysis, the hosts and gateways of the System were modified and optimized. And the reliability of the optimized system was verified through operational assessment test.
