Abstract: To facilitate data interchange and sharing of EMU data resource and provide accurate and reliable data for EMU business, the EMU data catalog is compilated through making a thorough investigation on the data in several existing EMU information systems. The business domain of EMU data resource are divided , the data from those system are sorted and collected according to the characteristics of structured and unstructured data. Data elements and metadata are defined and unified code sets are established in compliance with relevant standards, encodes according to national standards, and completes EMU data resource catalog. The EMU data resource catalog can serve as a convenient reference guide to shareable EMU data resources for related units and personnel, which is conducive to promoting the integration of EMU information systems and enhancing the value of EMU data assets.
