Abstract:
In response to the issue that the existing traditional urban rail transit platform protection system was not suitable for railway passenger transport platform protection, this paper combined the functional requirements and performance requirements of the railway industry for passenger transport platform protection systems, and designed a railway passenger transport platform protection system based on vertical motion. The paper elaborated on the composition, functions, workflow, and key technologies of the system, solved the problem that the traditional platform doors were unable to align with the train doors due to factors such as the large variety of parked vehicle types and temporary dispatching vehicles at railway passenger stations. The system has been put into operation at some railway passenger transport stations and is running well, which has the value of promoting and applying in the railway field.
