Abstract:
The railway project is a typical belt structure, with the characteristics of long line, wide point, etc. In order to achieve all-round, multi angle, multi-scale visual display and comprehensive analysis of the railway project, combining with Building Information Model(BIM), Geographic Information Systems(GIS), digital elevation, oblique photography, vector map and other data, this paper designed and developed an railway engineering electronic sand table system. The system dynamically appends the construction process information through the simulation of the physical railway project to form a construction digital asset that can be delivered for operation and maintenance. The application in Beijing-Zhangjiakou, Beijing-Xiong’an and other major railway projects shows that the electronic sand table system has good practicability, expandability and visualization effect, which can provide services for efficient utilization, realistic expression, simulation analysis and scientific management of various resources in railway projects, and also provide certain reference for the design and development of electronic sand table in other railway projects.
