Abstract: In order to send the emergency disposal notice, safety information notification and other information in the railway dispatching emergency command work conveniently, safely and efficiently, short message service was applied to the railway dispatching emergency command system. This paper analyzed the business requirements of the railway dispatching emergency command system, designed the short message service function and its implementation process, and implemented the safe, targeted and fast delivery of the contents involved in the railway dispatching emergency command work by sending short messages based on the application programming interface (API) call mode. The field application results show that short message service provides strong support for the directional, safe and efficient transmission of emergency work information, such as emergency notice, exception reminder and information notification.
