Abstract: Tourist railway puts forward higher requirements for fire safety management and traditional fire safety management mode can not adapt to the rapid development of the tourist railway. This paper studies how to adopts emerging information technologies such as video surveillance, bluetooth location, and Internet of Things in fire safety management of tourist railways. Based on the pilot project of Dujiangyan-Siguniangshan tourist railway, the intelligent operation and maintenancein platform for fire fighting system is built and functions are developed for fire control work, including personnel automatic detection, location and tracking, fire fighting equipment condition monitoring and automatic inspection, and disaster site fire parameter dynamic monitoring and early warning, which can greatly enhance the operation and maintenance capacity of tourist railway fire protection system and provide accurate and reliable reference information for rescue in the occurrance of fire, thus providing strong technical guarantee for the safe operation of tourist railway.
