Abstract: In order to accelerate the in-depth integration of information technology and railway construction material management, give full play to the leading and supporting role of informatization and the value of information resources, implement the control of project material management objectives, based on the development direction of Internet based information processing platform, this paper took the construction and application of material management information system of transportation terminal project for Beijing Chaoyang Station as an example, used Excel server platform to establish the connection and data exchange between the server and the client through the Internet, so as to provide ideas and methods for the information based management of engineering construction materials.
